Snipers don't, no. But he is not saying he is a sniper. I am assuming the situation is that he has GoWiPe made (or some raiding army) and he sees the TH outside so he drops his Queen. That is pretty normal and you don't have to be looking for a snipe to do it. It's just free loot and then you start searching for a raid again

Bingo. I would assume this is the case for most th snipes in the upper leagues.

To clever little you who decides to make it it your mission to 'destroy' th trappers, why do you do it?

Because when people trap their townhalls, the rest of their base is very vulnerable since key defenses are guarding the townhall.

I look for gaps in the Town Hall. If I see a 2x2 gap, I can tell it is a tesla.

I do the same thing when I come across a trappedTH. I'm doing you a favor if I take your TH and not your loot, and give you a shield with minimal trophy loss. Don't be the guy with traps.

I'm doing you a favor with free trophies, and league bonus, may as well make you do a little work for it.

The other week I found one of these and I destroyed him, taking over 300k each and 3000de too with heroes and barch, and yup left the town hall standing! Really annoys me when you think I'll take the th give him a shield and go and up come teslas.

I find this way more annoying than zappers.

the amount of heroes that wasted its valuable hp on my trapped th for no loot(im in gold) and the inconvenience of having to train another set of barch for actual raiding makes it worth

Honestly why do you do it? My mission when I run into someone who wants to play cute with their town hall is to destroy you. I will always have my high level AQ ...and my BK... backed up by 20 minions at least, if not full troops and rage spells and I will burn you to the ground. That's a promise. So maybe just either a) leave your th out free and clear or...b) man up and put your TH in the middle of your base and we'll go Mano a Mano.

I am a high th10 with defense maxed except mortars and cannons. I have 4 teslas guarding my th, so feel free to try to smash my base with your 20 minions. Even if you attack with a full GoWiPe army, because honestly my main reason for putting them out is just for some entertainment. I am sick of getting th snipes all the time because nobody thinks it is worth attacking me any more. I am boosting 2 hours a day and farm gold to get a th snipe and get attacked once in 5 clan wars 1 staring me because we have a player range from th3 to th10 so we dont find many good attackers.

Whenever that happens to me, I go for 39% and exit. I'll first drop barbs/minions anywhere traps might be laid, then I just go for the easiest resource storage, keeping note of the percentage and then dropping at 39%. The end result is you end up paying 200k+ in resources between the raid and trap reaming, AND you're left without a shield. I like to imagine someone else comes in behind me and has a easy time leveling you since most of your traps are now gone.
