I think the main reason zapping is hated massively is the fact that every strategy in the game, every way of raiding a base or stealing loot had a way of defending, except for zapping.
Take Barch as an example.
You have to place the barbs and archers wisely, either it's for the 50% or the storages. Any mistakes on placements can cause the raid to fail... well, any terrible placements.
Now defending against Barch.
Your defenses has a chance of defending against the barbarians or archers, causing the opponents to have a chance of failing. Your hard-earned defenses actually helps defend your base, fend off the enemy.
Now switching to zapping.
All it requires to steal 1000+ d.e is just to tap 3-5 times, don't tell me it requires skill. All it requires is you pointing your finger at the right spot, a couple of taps. You bypass every single defense, clan castle troops and steal a ton of d.e.
What can all the defenses do to fend off the lightning spells? Nothing at all.
If only the archer towers could snipe the bottles appearing out of nowhere.![]()
