The loot penalty makes this an implausible statement. It's not worth the effort for the minuscule amount they'd get in return.

Because they want to get A LOT of de and th7s don't have 1,000 - 2,500 de offered to other th7s. the only way they are able to get a lot is by zapping th9 and th10 storages.

now they have to attack other th7s with less than 500 de up for offers and they're mad and saying it's impossible to upgrade the king and dark troops.

Exactly. Economics change from one TH to another. I want to earn a million gold every time I attack, but it ain't in the cards....

Ahhh... Excuse me, but I thought you meant more of a building (like a lightning rod) that would allow players to upgrade their protection against zapping.

I actually made a thread after the update asking for zapping be available for revenging only. Didn't get quite as much support (50/50).

Yeah! basically to just zap would not really be worth it. You should, as a low leveled base, raid for it much more efficiently. This is mainly for revenge purposes. Because how else can a TH7 do much of anything to a proper th10 but use lightening.

The question how is not as interesting as the question why. Why should a TH7 be able to easily bypass the expensive and hard earned defenses that a TH10 has taken in many cases several years to acquire?

Why not just remove the lighting spell altogether?
Also what is hard earned about a FREE storage shield that stops all spells..

Because lower levels don't have the poison spell yet, and it's also very useful for a TH7 dragon raid.

Not much, which is as it should be. Just like TH10 can't really do much to a TH7 due to the loot penalty. TH7 can lose a lot more to other TH7 which is also as it should be.

Example. If I am TH7 and have the maximum 20,000 DE in storage, then another TH7 can steal a maximum of 1,200 DE from my storage. However, a TH10 can only steal 400 DE due to the loot penalty. Most TH10's (or 9's for that matter) won't even roll out of bed for less than 1,000 DE. This is worst case, because quite frankly when you have full storage of any kind it is a really, really good idea to spend it on something.

DE for TH7 isn't an insurmountable problem. It's hardly a problem at all.

And honestly, how often does the revenge feature work anyway?

You know what, sure, free loot shields for everyone, lets forget the past and where we came from. Let's let any higher leveled TH come on down and stomp low levels for the fun of it with no consequence. Its better this way.

What are TH 10s and nines for that matter doing in low gold and silver leagues??? I will never give up on this. Do you understand me.

Look I am genuinely concerned for the future and more importantly, the fun of this game! Ok.
A th10 or 9 for that matter in low leagues is like a fox in a hen house except now they have no fear of losing any loot revengable or not because they have free storage shields...And thus is a problem!
