I think that what the majority of people have said so far is correct. Get your heroes up to 25 ish I think then go to th10. Unless u want to max walls and heroes you don't have to wait. Just get as many walls as u can done

At TH9, there is enough upgrades to last you 6 months with back to back build/upgrades .. but Heroes will usually be a problem for most players.

The last 5-10 Hero levels can be grinded (I hope, I'm not there yet) while getting a full Lava set. Better walls, more DE can be protected.

I'll come at this a different way than others.

i was a th9 with 15/15 heros and maxed defences and lab with 180 Legos and the rest skulls. I was really bored at th9. Grinding walls and heros just wasn't really that interesting to me and it killed me that a whole bunch of content was out of my reach, so I jumped.

in hind site it was the right move with one exception....heros. They really are a HUGE advantage. With both heros up I can barch easily with no spells in masters. And 15/15 just doesn't cut it at th10. 20/20 minimum, but 25/25 is better and 30/30 a huge advantage for farming.

as for the walls....meh. Yeah they help, but between air attacks, jump spells and now earthquake, they really aren't that beneficial in war or pushing. Yeah they help prevent getting 3 starred or maybe help to prevent a 2 star in war, but in my opinion it's not important. once you finish with all you lab upgrades and defensive upgrades where do you put all your loot? Walls. 100% of everything I make now goes into walls. Does it matter that I still have Legos? Nope! I keep my town hall out and 99% of attacks solely go for the snipe. And the guys that really want to raid me have level 40 heros and all the right troops and skills that make the wall level irrelevant.


so my short answer is go with what you think is more fun...just watch you don't jump with heros that are too low.

I maxed my th9 except walls and heros, I regret that I did not wait until my heros was 20 isch.
I had 230 walls i lvl 9 lego and aq was 14 and bk was 11, I really struggle in wars since my heros are so weak. However all dark troops are maxed and I am just started working on my heros at my 6th week as th10.
But then again, I have plenty of dark and drilling 7,2K every day so they will come to me pretty soon.

If you think you have the patience to do it, go for it. I did it, and was super glad I did, but this is a game. Play it the way that makes it the most fun for you.

yes do them,i still have th8 defenses with almost all level 9 walls i think it will be easier working on defenses,hereos,and last set of 250 walls 14/12 in a month of having th9 goodluck

Hey guys, THANK you all for replies, I really appreciated.

After reading all your comments,I just want to ask one more question before I deside... Is it harder to farm(dead bases) on TH 10 or no?

If yes I'll stay at TH9 more month or two in the first place because I want my heroes to grow up every 7 days lol.

I've been grinding my th9 for just about 8 months now. I have 79 lavas left to do and my BK is 24 and AQ is 22. Everything else except the new update stuff is maxed. I still have a few months to go on my heroes. I've gone back and forth with myself about whether or not I should upgrade to th10 at level 20 heroes, level 25 heroes, or level 30. I always come to the same conclusion: Get them to level 30. The reason being, in my mind, is that I've missed out on so many wars so far due to upgrading heroes that I don't want to worry about that at th10. Once they hit 30 and I move up I'm not touching them again until my th10 is maxed defensively or my dark elixir upgrades are all done and I have nothing to do with it. I won't war when I'm down a hero either. They are just too important in my eyes.

My question is why is everyone in such a rush to get to th10?

other than the inferno towers, you don't get anything that significantly changes or enhances the game.
