    A permanent haste would be way too overpowered. For basically half a spell, you get like goblin speed golems and balloons or whatever, yeah, that's too OP. Maybe some other way to buff it would be okay though.

    Haste is used when you want a speed boost, fastest speed boost in the game at half the storage space, sounds like pretty great value to me. Troops that already gave high damage like balloons don't need more increased damage, just increased speed.
