What do you use gems for?

Next would be boosting collectors...
Lastly, buying loot.

I would boost, but whenever I do I am either interrupted, or I can't find any loot

I'm just saving them and finishing a few buildings here and there early. I think I'll boost a lot more in the summer though

I totally agree. When I am boosting, somehow I get interrupted by things that crop up, or just find no good loot. So now I use the gems to finish a building in its last few hours of upgrade when my storage are full or to prevent my builder from being available past midnight cos the time keep pushed back

Use them to fill your DE storage and then move your DE storage next to your TH outside in a far corner.

What I usually do with gems is boost my barracks, spell factory, and maybe king and just do some hardcore farming for 2 hours. On rare occasions I might boost my DE drills or collectors

I'll admit, I've used gems for just about everything, but do it wisely. If I'm overflowing with loot, I'll free up a builder. If I'm just shy of resources and it's late, I'll throw a few gems to get the remaining amount. As long as it isn't over 50 gems on the resources.

And of course on good old boosting sessions whenever I get a chance.
