How far is that base from your mirror? plus or minus?

You should have just explain it to your clan mates that you made a mistake no big deal really, this happens to us all.

Mirror may not be relevant for his clan. Not everyone uses the mirror strategy.

I don't think this has ever happened to me. However, there was one time I attacked a base (pre-attack screen) with hogs in my CC instead of a golem. The raid didn't go well to say the least.

And that's why I ALWAYS press scout first even when I'm done scouting. I only press Attack from inside the base so I know for sure I'm not hitting the wrong one.

That's usually the best way to avoid this scenario. At least you didn't have troops you forgot to train like I did once...

Once I embarrassed myself so bad during a cw attack, I instantly logged off and didn't get back on for 24 hours. And that's a looooong time in my books.

Any clan that goes rage on a member for just a wrong tap is not worth to be in. I personally tap the wrong icons many times.

Scout on prep. day, scout again on war day, scout immediatly before starting the attack.


One of my clanmates managed that fail 4 clanwars in a row, that was something to rage for - just a one timer, happends now and then.
Also did it one time, but no reason to rage gem my troops, just build troops, wait for and go for the called one...

Just had this the other day, we had a midlevel TH8, who decided to not only not attack his mirror(not a huge deal), but go down several numbers on the war ladder to attack a midlevel TH7, and got 0 stars somehow. I wouldn't have thought it possible if i didn't see it myself.

Anyway he quit the clan seconds later, wasting his second attack he still had. I suppose it's not a huge loss because i don't think he was going to rack up too many stars on one of the bases we needed him to attack.

Yeah this has happened on countless occasions to my clan. Just a week ago a TH8 joined us, pretty close to maxed like me atm butnduring the war he gemmed rigorously, spending around 30,000 to get TH9, his Queen to 5, Golems to 4, hogs to 5, unlock witches and hounds and get GiBarching from level 5 to 6, i thought it annoying as we are a TH7 and 8 war clan and didnt plan on being TH9 til me and our other near maxed TH8s were up there. However we let him stay and luckily we started war before he did it sp our matchup counted him as a th8 still. Anyway we said everybody attack opposites and this was a particularly poor clan were there number 3 was maxed in defense however had level 5 and 6 walls. He went in for his attack, GoWiPe he went for, along with both royals, 3 golems. He never planned for a drag in the enemy cc and though itnwould usually be fine, his troop placement was terrible so king and all pekkas were at one side being pelted and wizards and queen where away with the golems unable to help, eventually the king and every pekka went down and around that point a huge group of wizards hit a gb and it was down to around 4 wizards, a queen and 3 golems to scavenge 50% somehow, they took out a defense but that meant that the golem had to wander for the next one and the queen and wizards ran iff unprotected over another gb which finished off the wizards and then royak cloak was activated at around 40% getting him to 44 but the queen was stuck on a storage being oelted by many defenses, in short it was over. He then backed out saying i quit this game youve got a ♥♥♥♥ clan etc." now hes gone
