Is Gold the NEW SILVER??? (Post Dark Spell Update) TH8

I am wonderring, since the addition of the new league, the standards seemed to have been pushed one league higher. although I coulnt figure out if its true or not. I use two th8 accounts, I pilot Aj, and my main El cid. My main I used to do a killing down in silver. and Aj is on lower gold. Nowadays it seems like the aj account is doing a killing as I found more dead bases in less than 10-20 nexts everytime.


Furthermore the Silver league these days I'd get attacked immedeately, quite strange. But off course they would just hit the TH. But on Aj's account, it usually takes 15 minutes before someone even snipes. This was the scenario before on silver!

IU only farm in EST everning hours still, the gold league loot outweigh the silver loot and I usually have a hard time now in silver. Did the dead bases suddenly move up to gold post update? LOLZ

I am thinking that there are fewer active players in Gold these days - may be possible

Anyone getting the same experience?

Yes, I am loving the loot in gold Never really found much luck in Silver and I always got stomped on by TH9s who were looting everything.

BTW, were you having luck in Gold pre Dark Spell update as well?
Or just now?

Because before the Titn leaugue was added, I was not making any loot in Gold but was making a killing in Silver..

Well, I found quite a few bases for good loot in gold, but nowhere near as much as I've been finding lately. Raid after raid after raid. It's brilliant! Before it was quite infrequent, but now it's a lot easier to get loot, so I don't have to worry if I mess up one raid In silver, not so much luck before. I think it all went dry before I got there.

I think with the matchmaking changes there is no global sweet spot any more. If a place is good for th8s it does not mean it is good for th10s, because both players will see completely different targets.

I'm TH8, and I've been killing it in Gold 3/2. It hasn't been hard to average 400K total resources per hit. Sometimes, I have to hit next a bunch to find an inactive town, but they are there.

I was a bit curious..

Before update I was experiencing the same thing I experience in Gold in Silver (with my main)

But obviously Gold is right place to loot now (dont tell others lol) but Why? How?

Did all the inactive bases suddenly rose in cup count post Titan update?

But most likely is it the reduction of active players in Gold league?

Perhaps the people raising cup counts simply pushed "higher" leaving the Gold league alone for farmers..

in the meantime silver league players remained there since they actually dont care about cups...that is the only explanation I can come up with...

What can you say? Any critic of my theory?

YES I have definitely noticed gold league loot is amazing. Dropped to silver after the update because I figured zapping was over but found silver to be a little disappointing. On the climb back to crystal, i ran into gold league and found i was nexting so many juicy bases so I decided to boost a session of barracks and got 8 million gold in one session.

Yep,

Its always

GOOD

But silver used to be WAAAYYYY Better

Now I guess its because of the less number of active players of Gold league due to the people who decided to push to the new leagues.

I dont think the number of inactive lootable bases have changed tho, since that would be farfetched. But the number of active competition in Gold itself is the factor..that's my theory
