    countering giants is not difficult

My base turns giant raids into cat food. it's not difficult, just create funnels. Very skilled attackers can counter this, but very skilled attackers are going to wreck your base no matter what most of the time, and i see these attacks maybe 2 percent of the time.

The downside of course is that this usually leaves your base vulnurable to war type armies going for a 3 star, as mine is. But if you are just defending against the average barch, or giant raid, works wonders.

Center your CC, fill it with wizards, create a good funnel, and giants go poof in a matter of seconds.

Keep dragon in cc(not wizz because poison spell). 99% from the giant raiders wont lure the cc so they are dead

Can we conclude already that there is not a single way to easy counter Giants except buying Inferno Towers?

Actually, I would say there have been many suggestions offered:

    - Me: Put your TH out and get to a league high enough to give incentive to be sniped
    - jgarcia: Upgrade Splash defenses and funnel
    - Calin: Keep dragon in cc(not wizz because poison spell). 99% from the giant raiders wont lure the cc so they are dead
    - Ternic: Center your CC, fill it with wizards, create a good funnel, and giants go poof in a matter of seconds. Noting that very skilled attackers can counter this, but very skilled attackers are going to wreck your base no matter what most of the time
    - Gendel, offering to help, requests a pic of your base so he can offer suggestions

    (And more ...)

Those don't count. He wants to defend without using defences.

Pic of base and league would help, and the army you're complaining about too.

Send Giants, drop some Heals, enjoy the core.

Can SC stop with this free core strat once for all?

    Thank you for your time.

First off, are we talking about max giants or lvl 6? Assuming all max troops for TH10, 20 giants, plus say 40 barbs and 80+ archers takes about 25 minutes and costs about 125k elixir. That is a costly and moderately long training army. You can only get in about 2 raids an hour with that comp unless you boost. When you add in heal spells, it's even more expensive.

I rarely see people farming with 20 giants. I myself farm with about 12 and rarely use more than 1 spell. With 20 giants shouldn't you expect to lose some loot at TH9? Even losing loot, you shouldn't be losing more than 4 or 5 storages at most. Giants are slow and it's usually the AQ doing the damage behind them.

I think farming with giants is fairly balanced at this point.

    Giants and Heal Spell

Sup, I'm here to restart that discussion about Giants and Heal Spell.

As everyone knows, Giants and Heal Spell is a semi-costly army compo which is able to cut down into enemies cores.

    Some characteristics:

    Pros

    1. Semi-costly
    Not the highest of costs but the cheapest of all efficients core army compo;
    2. Time consuming
Althought Giants are one of the fastest troops to make, Heal Spell takes longer to be fulfiled (althought with the latest path it got shortened and the Giants users can always use one or two, instead of four).

Cons (this is refered on a balance POV)

Althought not the easiests to build army compo, Giants and Heal Spell is the easiest to reach core by its costs and cook time. The biggest difference between a Giants and Healers and a Giants and Heal is that G&Healer isn't easy to pull off, player need to be very experienced to actually make it work; at same time, G&Heal doesn't need a drop of experience, as player is only required to drop a Heal every time Giants get stuck/mained by Wizzard Towers.

    Conclusion

Giants and Heal is a army compo that doesn't require* experience on the game to get into cores. The experienced defender also don't have many weapons to fight against it, as the mighty Heal Spell is clearly one of the most overpowered things on Clash of Clans.

I ask Supercell for a nerf on Giants, be it stat wise, or with secondarily approx like you did with Hog Riders.

    Thanks, have a nice day

    Tl;dr (lazy ones): read it
