Level 5 Dragons

The update was not a dragon boost for th9 and 10, but a dragon nerf at th7 and 8. With all that hitpoint increases dragons lvl3 are as strong as ll2 has been before. They are still useless at th9 and th10. Maybe if you are an extremely rushed th10 and want 2 stars on th9s and the only thing you can do is dragon attacks. Dragons have shifted down half a th level like hogs did after the giant bomb and hero update. They are still great against th7s and th8s without maxed ads, but against ads lvl6 you will need hogs.

Drags are great against TH7s WITH maxed ads. Not much they can do, with a zapped air defense.

Dragons can seem underwhelming, but they are supposed to be. Think about it, if you could easily two or three star a maxed townhall 10 what fun would the game be? Mass dragon armies are the easiest army in the game to deploy and use. Why would you risk deploying a plethora of different troops at different intervals and risk failure, if you could just plop down a bunch of dragons in a line and get an easy two stars?
