Not even remotely close. I'd say dragons level 9, would be getting closer to useable.

I don't think so.....guy in my clan has them, and mine finish in 3 days, but I don't plan on using them.
Yeah you can GoDrag for 2* on a 10, but I still don't see them being useful.......

It's not.......+20 DPS and 200 hitpoints? So it'll last a few seconds later under fire than a lvl 4......oooooh! Ahhhh!
Got my ones finished in the lab in 2 days, think that I just waisted 14 days of lab time that I could have used on dark spells, never mind

My dragons have 3 days left before lvl 5 and i see alot of people complaining that the stats do not increase much but it has always been like that for every lvl the dragon has. the same increase from lvl 3 to 4 is the same from 4 to 5. it worth it in my opinion. here i added the info for you to look at. DPS= damage per second, DPA= damage per attack.

Whatever it is I like my Level 4 ones at TH9
You have to consider how much stronger the defense is you are going against. Level 3 dragons have a hard time 3 starring at th8 now. You think adding 400 hps and 60 dps is gonna do anything at TH10 lol?? Infernos, level 13 ATs, level 8 ADs more air bombs etc. Besides cc donations, I see zero use for these things.

They were only made to support in clan castles now that we can't use wizards and witches. Even then, they can easily be taken down by an Archer Queen, despite their tiny increase in health lol
