An almost maxed th9 (details inside), looking for an advice.

Hello fellow clash mates,


As the subject suggests, I am an almost(defined below) maxed out th9 in terms of both defense and offense. Here is what my IG profile is like:


Defense: All defenses are maxed, only Air Sweepers are going on level 4 and will be going further once level 4 in done constructing.
Offense: All troops are maxed except Valkyrie (never used it and don't plan to)
Walls: Lvl 8: 143
Lvl 9: 107
Royals: King 15, Queen 15.


I can 3 star a maxed out th9 with Go-Hogs, GoWi-Hogs (base-dependant) and 3 star a semi-upgraded th9 with skull walls. And easily 2 star a maxed out th9 with lava walls. Which brings up my question: I'm sorta getting bored with wars as it has become rather quite easy for me to score. Farming is OK too. I do both giants (usually) as well as barch (rarely) attacks.


I'm kind losing interest. Should I be upgrading to th10? Is the time right? Or should i upgrade my royals to lvl 20 or what? Upgrading walls to level 9 is quite depressing bdw lol so don't know about walls.

Your heroes gonna hold you back at TH10. I'm in a high end War clan and we had some issues with our 10s who upgraded totoo early with heroes only at 20/20. You want at MINIMUM 25/25, preferably both 30. If you're that bored maybe look into joining a clan where the wars are tougher. Unless you are close with your current clan.

In my clan royals to lvl 20 in minimum to go to th10....25 is what is most common
The fact is that you have so many things to upgrade at th10, and the wars get a lot harder theat you are better off getting higher heroes sooner than later...lvl 15 just doesnt cut it

Yeah I'm pretty much in the exact same boat as you. My defenses are basically maxed except for one xbow that i haven't started to lvl 3 yet and the second air sweeper. And my offense is basically just as maxed.

Heroes are the hardest thing to upgrade in my opinion, the walls aren't too bad, just slow. I only have like 50 legos so you have me beat on that.

But to answer your question, I'm thinking about upgrading to TH 10 when I get my heroes to at least lvl 20 because everyone says that it really helps when you have to farm on TH 10 and TH 9's for loot.

So that's what I would do if I were you, get them to at least lvl 20 and you'll probably be done with lvl 9 walls by the time they are done.

Join a clan where th9's 3 star all other clan's th9s. That will give you something to keep striving whilst upgrading your heroes.

I went to th10 one month ago. 15/15 heros full legos and maxed Defences.

Zero regret.

I suggest you do your walls in a few boost sessions, maybe upgrade with 50 to go and do em in the waiting time.
Loot is good at th10 and youll do fine with your heros

Ultimately the game is about having fun, if you are bored and thirst the TH10 toys then just do it.

Sure, some war clans have higher hero requirements than what you have…but what good is there grinding heroes if it bores you and you lose interest in the game?

Hmm. Thanks for the advices guys. Ok then I will stick to th9 till my heroes are level 20. Meanwhile, I will upgrade my maximum walls to level 9 too. Bdw, none of you mentioned anything about the walls and th10. I wonder why?

Max walls at least. They are easier than maxing heros. U can upgrade walls while do heros . Trust , u will have rough time if u go to th10 right now. I went to th10 as a true maxed th9 . I had very rough time in the beginning....
