I'm a fairly advanced th9 and my clan have decided to try and push trophys which is good for them but I farm all the time and never try and get high in trophys my record is only 1753 trophies and I'm getting mocked for it I don't see why I just farm and don't have no intentions of going to higher leagues because where I am is just fine
It's your game, play it however you like. Pushing can be fun, but if you're not ready for it or if it doesn't appeal to you then it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. Same can be said for war.
I would keep farming until u are a maxed th9 then get high up in trophy's until u are higher than them and the uppgrade to th10☺
I'm just gonna say my opinion, but your clan is full of tarts then. Mocking someone because they don't push is something silly. Are you sure they're mature people and not CoD playing, iPhone toting 13 year olds with their relationship issues?
Play the game how it appeals to you. I would invite you to my clan, but we're all a bunch of IRL friends.

My advice would be to find a different clan that won't mock you for having a low trophy count since trophies are not important to you right now.
The trophie system has been broken since TH sniping started. Like the OP, I could care less about trophies. I did push to get my free gems but after that...what is the point? If a TH6 can reach Champs by sniping....all that really says is he is an expert at pushing next.

They don't deserve a good th9 if they don't let you play the way you want.
Stuff em..... but if it bothers you, why not push through crystal... its a piece of cake for mid th9, its not like youd need a war army for that, plus you get gems.....(If you put your th inside, you'd probably float up in a few days......)

With Supercell putting your highest trophy count on the top of your profile, you are going to want it to be higher to look good. I think Supercell, by doing this, have encouraged MORE people to push. However, it does have its downsides and this is one of them. Non-pushers feel pressurised into pushing to make their profile look good and impress clanmates.
If I were you, I'd push to masters or even champs. You get 250 gems for crystal and 1000 for Masters, 2000 for Champions. So why not?
