I think that it'll be a good idea if supercell puts a pause option for us when we're upgrading sth.it will be helpful if you like have 8mil gold and want to upgrade x-bow to level 3 but you dont have any builders available and you're scared to live the game. You could just pause an upgrade and do the other but for making it kinda difficult,it could like get gem or money from you. Let me know what you think.
Hello. Unfortunately, I don't think this is a good idea. It is every player's responsibility to take care of his base and adopt the best judgement when it comes to what to upgrade and when to do so; SuperCell shouldn't take care of us at all times, we need to deal with some situations ourselves. You have the option to cancel an upgrade, if you got enough resources for a more important one, so use it if you don't want to risk being attacked.
Also, another downfall to this suggestion would be that it would remove some loot from the game. Believe it or not, these people who hold resources because of no builders are free represent some part of the economy, some of the loot you are stealing.
Finally, the worst downfall of this would be that this would be a way to hide resources, as you could just start an upgrade to hide resources and cancel it for half the money. Yes, you may lose half but you may lose more if the next builder is free in just 3 days for example.
