Who wouldn't love a couple extra gems to use daily in Clash? I know I would. My idea of "Daily Challenges" can help players earn a couple gems daily from something other than bushes and trees, which would create some interesting diversity that would result in players that have lost interest to pick some back up again. So, Players could complete simple tasks throughout Clash to earn small amounts of gems. Presonally, I would favor a 3 challenge system, where the player would be prompted with 3 challenges every 24 hours. For example, let's say a player (Pretend this player is a Town Hall 8, around level 80) can receive these challenges:
Challenge One: Upgrade 5 Walls to level 7. (3 Gems)
Challenge Two: Earn 12 Stars in multiplayer battles. (2 Gems)
Challenge Three: Steal 850,000 Elixir from multiplayer battles. (3 Gems)
Since Clash is not run on the local timer of the player's smartphone, and runs on a server timer, this Challenge System could not be abused by changing the smartphone's date and time.
Overall, I believe that my idea of a Daily Challenges System would spark some interest in those who have lost it, it would help anyone in need of just a small number gems to complete whatever they were hoping to complete, it would not take away (only add to) from the game, and it would be a generally fun new way to challenge oneself within the game. I am open to discussion of the idea, and I would like to hear everyone's opinions and feedback. I do not recall this being a ruled out idea, but please let me know if it is.
