Player search is ruled, and you can just look for your friends on Gamecenter or Google Play. Having to store possibly millions of connections between players would slow down Clash of Clans servers.

Hello. Please read the sticky threads before creating new topics. It seems like you keep on breaking this rule..
The player search function is a ruled out idea, so it is not going to be added. This is to do with too many players having similar names, which would make the function useless for at least 1/3 of clash community.

As for the Friend Request suggestion, just connect with a Facebook account and ask your friends to do the same, so you will have them listed under the Friends tab in the game.
