Set in larger penalties for leaving a clan during war, first off I don't think they should be aloud to leave during war but even if you give them that decision persway them to stay for a while with a much larger penalty say, 100,000 gold coins to leave a clan during war time.
You do realise that forcing them to stay won't make any difference; it won't make them realise it's bad and certainly it won't make them actually use their attacks in war. Forcing does not help the situation. Just put your clan on Invite Only, interview any newcomer and if they go past this then they shouldn't be hoppers. If they still decide to quit, then it's your clan which has issues, not the player who decided to leave.

Peoples can just troll peoples to join their clan and start a war then start to insult so that he leave
Or another case they he is visiting a clan and the leader decided to let him in war
But oops he can't leave! So he waste his attacks, donate golbs to war castles and start insulting everyone
so no let them leave

Just don't opt in peoples that are new, get to know them they will reveal their self if they was hoppers in time

And just because you think they're loyal means they wont leave during war? No. I had a guy stay and fight for 3 wars we gave him elder he was always on having convos with us, pretty cool guy.. left us during preparation day and now we have a hole, just because you think they will stay doesn't mean they will? So why not penalties them even more? Are you one of those guys that joins request and leaves? Hmm seems like it
Its the leaders job to coordinate wars and don't letting new new members to take part in it

I agree that people leaving mid war really stinks. I think it would be better if they their profile would keep a metric of how many times a person has left before the end of a war... or maybe how much total cooldown time they have accumulated. Wouldn't solve the problem, but would give a clan a better idea of what to expect.

It’s one thing to want to penalize someone who doesn’t play the same way as you, but it’s an entirely different thing to jump to conclusions and attempt to insult someone when they point out drawbacks in in your ideas.
People leave clans for many reasons. It is well within game rules. They should not be punished because you don’t like they way they play the game. Learn better clan management techniques to lower the chances of this happening to you. This issue is regularly discussed so search the forum for other leadership techniques during war. There has been a least one identical thread in the past 24 hours.
