The One, the Only, Troop Filter!

Seems like I'm the only guy who knows how to present ideas in a fashionable matter at times..

We've all had that moment when we need troops for war because there is no time left, and the only guy online gives you Giants, or when you need to win the next defense so you can hit champs, and are given, goblins. If not, trust me, it stinks. Yes I know, this has been suggested MANY times

However the requests won't stop. So I've decided to remake my old thread, but more indepth.

So let's begin.
When you go and request for troops, starting at clan level 3, you unlock the.... Clan Troop Filter! At Level 3 you can select 3 troops to filter out, as in they can't be donated. Once you hit clan level 5, not only do you get +1 lvl on donated troops, but you also unlock the troop filter at level 2, where you can select 5 troops (see what I did there ?) to filter out!

If you donate, much like how you normally see gray for troops you don't currently have in your army camps, you would see gray for troops that are not wanted. I relize that people would just filter everything but a PEKKA, but if they do, they can't complain when they don't get any troops. After you fill out your filter a a warning will pop up saying are you sure you would to filter the request to [insert troop name(s)].

Pros
No more bad troops!
No more XP Hoppers who donate Giants and leave!

Cons
Donating will be more annoying
Donating will be more expensive

There was a thread with photos somewhere when I made the original thread. Can't seem to find it now, so any photos, like always, are highly appreciated and highly desired.

So it's like banning unwanted troops from the donation screen of your clan mates... really cool idea! I really like it, it happened a lot to get something I didn't want to because either I wasn't there or nobody had that kind of troop so they gave what they felt like I'd need (even if they end up being kicked ). However, I don't know about 5 troops.. seems like a bit too many. I mean I want the idea but I also don't want people to ban all the troops and leave only pekkas, golems, etc etc. I would go maybe with up to 3 bans but maybe it's just me Anyway, support it.

Rather than Banning the troops, Which i don't want (or need), I think it would be better if You select the troops that You want.

for eg. when you request, you will be showed all the troops out of which you have to select the troops You want.

No because then someone would just expect a pekka when the clan isn't doing war. With this way you can say no wallbreakers or Giants or goblins.

yes ofcourse!

But if someone does it you can just decide not to donate him.

OR

maybe you can have a timer that expires after 5 hours or so,
after 5 hours the REQUESTER will have to accept any troop.

Man i've read u're 2 last thread and i want to tell something
the good clans are known by many facts
1) always, always and ALWAYS active
2) good in clan wars
3) All members are friendly
4) all members respect the donations
5) promotions aren't given directly and needs work
...

u're killing the facts 1 and 4 that i have write and making all clans more and more similar

in my opinion a member that don't respect donations should be kicked
if a request don't get troops it means
the clan is inactive
or
the player who have request is active at a time he shouldn't be active (that happens the most in the clans that are national clans not international)

so i think if SC would put these 2 features in future updates
that will make that achievement of "making a clan and let him be a very good clan" so much easier for the leaders cz they will only have to be nice in wars
Now its different to make a good clan u have to take care of donations, try u're best to make the clan international, being always at least good in wars,...

I just have some questions:
1. In this feature, would it allow you to filter troops, even if you didn't use the max number filterable?
---Example: Clan Level 5 means I can filter out 5 troops max; however, what if I want to include all troops but filter out only 4. Will it allow me to do that?
2. The levels that this feature comes at would be a different system that what the other perks have. I suggest that you spread each level of the filter 5 apart, so it would be consistent the others (i.e. First Filter Level at Clan 3, Second Filter Level at Clan 8).

Again, good idea. Very well though out and finalized.

Sorry, but no. I have always been against this kind of idea, and I will tell you

Guy makes a minimum troop donated per cycle to stay in rule in group desc.

Guy gets people in group.

Guy tells people that if they dont block troops below golem, they are kicked.

Now the guy has effectively made it so no TH below 8 (or was it 9. I forget) can join, as they dont have golems. This causes the amount of groups a person can join to go down, and lets face it. A good group is half the fun of clash of clans.
