Now I'm not 100% sure on this and please don't be nasty about it if I'm wrong but I believe the losing team members keep around 20-25% of what they would have earned. I personally believe that based on the recent changes in troop cost and the average amount of elixer spent on formulating 2 rather bulky attacks, as well as placing troops in war clan castles that average between 8k-25k per troop, the percentage might have been good when wars first came around. But there is so many resources going into these wars that to lose by only a star or 2 and have that be the difference between 600,000 elixer and 80,000 is hard to see. Especially when one of the 2 attacks could take 300,000 elixer to build up with spells. What I suggest is for the clan levels to increase the percentage of the consilation winnings based on your level. Say starting with lvl 3. Lvl 3 clans that don't win. Their members receive 30% of what they would have. Lvl 4 receives 40% of what they would have, and a lvl 5 clans earns 50% of what they would have. That seems fair because you have to earn the right as a clan. Together putting in the effort to get the reward. I hope someone at supercell can read this and hopefully comment their take on the idea.
