Name Change Edit

I would like there to be an edit to the name change idea. I changed my name from James to ReliiKDestructz when I changed to become co-leader of my friend's clan. Now, he left and I left to go back to my old clan and they are not going to be used to the name. I would like there to be a cost to undo a name change, like 50 gems, and a cost to rename, like 100 gems. Also, a name change should have a 48 hour cooldown period, so you cannot continuously change your name.

The game asked you if you are sure about the change of the name, if I'm not mistaken you confirmed 3 times the change. You should have thought this through better as you only get one shot at this. Also I am totally against any methods of continuously changing the name, even if we are talking about a 48h cooldown.

I'm pretty sure you first have to type in your name, then click "confirm", then you gotta type in a box "CONFIRM", then you gotta confirm that one last time. I don't see how you could've accidentally changed your name.. You should've thought it through more.

Also, one name change is troll haven, adding additional name changes would just make things worse.

If they ever did charge for a name change, they'd have to charge far more then 50 gems that you can get from obstacles in a week. That would mean every player, free or payer, can change their names as often as once a week.

The name change should costs a pretty penny to prevent trolling. If you could essentially do it for free, it will become an absolute troll tool. I've joked in the past that it should cost 14,000 gems...

...but realistically it should costs at least $20 to do a name change. Not meant to make it profitable for Supercell but to make the option available but pricey enough that you'd have to have no budgetary concerns to use it as a troll tool.

As a leader, this name change thing has been driving me nuts. Trolls being kicked, changing name, coming back. People I'm used to calling one name, now changed to a different one etc. To much room for abuse allowing people to change names any time they want.
