How to farm with a net positive gain on elixir in masters? Please help.

I'm on a push back up to champ as a th9, been running loonion since 2500, making a pretty nice profit. Done 3 lavas (with elixir) so far in the last three days of pushing. Gotten plenty of snipes, actually, far juicier than last time I was up here. I've gotten a few nice loot hits, but mainly I'm just stacking off the loot bonus.

There's three ways I do this as I sometimes find the same problem...

1. Replace elixir troops with dark troops, hogs, golems, witches etc along with your royals and a few spells. Look for a base with 100k+ elixir and make sure you get that 50%

2. Next until you find a 250k+ elixir base. I am currently using 9 healers, 18 hogs and my royals. Get your queen out first stick all healers on her. Then use hogs from opposite side of base to take out as many defenses as possible. I brew 3 heals and one jump or one rage. If the base is 250k and you get 50% you will come out in profit.

3. Gibarch and do some collector raids.. again making sure you get one star for rhe bonus on top. These bases do crop up quite often even in masters. I tend to still need heal spells to make sure I get the 50% though.

They all have their pros and cons. Option 2 for example has left me wanting to throw my phone against the wall more times than I can count when people have lvl 6 loons or lvl 6 wizards in their cc.
Option 1 means your dark elixir depletes very fast and then you need to concentrate on that again. It's a vicious circle.

It's a balance in masters unfortunately. I definately fins elixir harder to build up than gold.

Thanks! It's making me want to go back to silver and gold because I can farm so much more there but I'm currently trying to push to champs and I don't want to run out of elixir haha.

Totally feel you on this one, on my first push to Master as a th9 I got to like 2500 and ran dead on elixir, had to drop. Not quite sure how, as next time I went for master I breezed on up to 3100. You got this!

Ya i was using that but then loonion was easier to get the 2 star for me but I might have to switch back. Do you use spells?

Why 2 star? I only go for 1 star. 2 is a bonus.

I try not to use spells, but I occasionally have to pop a heal. I just used poison for the first time on some CC troops and it was awesome :)

I am farming for the dragon upgrade so am specifically looking for elixir. You have to take into account the league bonus I received with each attack. As I get higher in cups I am a little more trigger happy on that heal spell. I don't want to go backwards :)

I'm pushing back up to masters right now, I just hit C1. Last time I was up in masters, this is exactly how I did it. This is my attack log:

Use the cheapest army you can to get the job done, and proper target selection, and you should be just fine.

Immediately next any TH10 with infernos unless it is a very poor design.

Look for TH's that are only one or two layers away.

Builders huts and other trash buildings out of range of point defenses are a bonus! Start picking those off before you begin your main attack.

Obviously, take any snipe you can get. But, if it don't feel right, don't snipe it. A trapped TH is a waste of time and resources.

I use loonion and I'm able to get plenty of elixer. I'm currently sitting on 6.5M elixer, and I just put pekka in the lab a few days ago. You just have to keep nexting until something comes along. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it takes a while.

I guess the answer is just get better haha. Also how many loons and how many minions do u Use?

I Use 28 ballons (lvl 6) 5 wallbreakers ( lvl 5) and 35 minions (lvl 5) for a th9 with 220 space

Regarding the OP I do lavaloons raids on master and I dont have any problem on elixir profiting...and thats why I use an verage of 3 rages per raid.

I barch in masters as well. My queen is lvl 30 and does some of the heavy lifting at times, but it's totally doable at th 9
