Idea: Map and Clan Customization (Premium)

Hi everyone,

It's been so long I've been playing the Clash of Clans and never noticed that the Supercell has forum for the players and fans. Anyone, over the past couple of years I've seen many changes and many features comes to the Clash of Clans and never doubt the creativity and the hard work of the people behind this awesome game.

It's been a while I'm thinking about the features for the Clash of Clans, let the players customize their bases, I mean not with the decorations and the different placement of their buildings and stuff. Imagine, an option allow the players to change their base background color or environment like change from jungle to mountains, tropical, snowy grounds, lava mountains, and others. This option can be a premium feature and the players can purchase these environments with gems.

Also adding a feature to customize the clan badge with special designs and even allowing the clans to upload their flag with by the image file and create unique flag and badge. Also these features can be premium and purchase by gems.

If you guys have more ideas regarding the customization for the clans and the maps, please feel free to share it here.

Just wanted to add more regarding the clan chat control, the co-leader or leader should be able to mute the spammers without kicking them out and have more features to control the messaging, donation and other things the newbies can misuse or abuse.

I suspect SuperCell has analytics on the Pirate Flag and Hero Statue (two customizable terrain elements that cost gems).

If those analytics indicated that they made any significant revenue from these two items, I would expect to see more.

We haven't seen any in many updates.

Conclusion: It is likely that custom village elements are not revenue generating enough to warrant implementation.

Your Idea: It is likely that this would be work that would not translate into revenue to SuperCell.

Well I like the idea of getting extra feature in game with Clan Level.

I agree with you, but sometimes extra control over the clan chat is not a bad idea.
If you have played the World of Warcraft, you know that they have very powerful chat system. You can even use the chat to make the modification to your character, game play and many more.

But the Clash of Clans chat is very simple, I remember there was a time it didn't even support the emoji.

Overall, what I'm saying, it's not a bad idea to have more advanced chat with more features such like private message and options to control the chat.

For example, once the new players joins your clan, send them a message to remind them the clan rules, instead of telling them what to do and what not to do.

I hate that look of the the background of the clan war menu , the lakes all that trees in "MANUSCRIPT "Style.

Better make it colored like lava red , fjord blue , confer green , mountain yellow , snow white , hell [ if not offensive ] black , etc.

Basically I'm suggesting the same thing. Adding a feature where players can customize the background and environment the same way they like it.
