You want the “convenience” of a coup to replace a clan Leader regardless of the impact on that person or the efforts they might make to recover their village ? Wow. Simply ..double wow.

Don’t you understand this could be abused ? It has the potential to destroy clans, unlike co just doing their jobs and running clans in the absence of Leader.

It makes no sense I made a clan I spent so much money on it and then someone takes it away also some one could get more than one acount and get them co and one person could become leader it's not well balenced
emm whats the difference between coleader and leader? They basically have the same power except that the leader can demote coleaders. If you don't trust your leader then why bother staying in the clan? On the other hand there is no point being the leader if you know that your leader will let you do what you should do as a coleader

Chill bro. I don't know why you're so worked up over this. The reason I told him that is because I mentioned the account was not connected to Google plus and unfortunately, he lost his phone. Now, how is it possible for him to just buy another phone and pick up where he left off? The proper reply could have been to ask me to let my friend contact SC (which he already did) and not just say "sheesh it's just as simple as replacing your phone".
I'll say this again, I'm not promoting the coup thing. Please stop assuming that because I suggested something similar, I am in for the coup because I, for one, know that the leader worked hard for the clan he made so no one should be able to take it from him. However, as I mentioned the incident regarding my friend, I twisted the idea and made it so that instead of making it a douche move to just take the clan away from the leader, why not tweak it a bit to make it helpful? So, I suggested that if the leader was inactive for a long period (for several reasons: he may no longer be able to play the game, he may have gotten bored and quit without telling his clan mates, lost access to his phone and account and SC couldn't give it back, etc), make it so that clan mates can still assign an active leader. Just put in a notification that a new leader will be voted unless the current leader goes online again so as to give the leader a heads up or something.
Do you see the logic here? I twisted it to at least help some clans whose leaders have gone AWOL. For all we know, there may be a patch in the future where the clan leader is needed.
As above. I read the stickies and it says to be constructive when you reply. That is exactly what I'm doing. Instead of telling the OP "this idea stinks because it can be abused blablabla", I suggested something to make it a bit acceptable.

In the end, it wouldn't hurt to not insult fellow forumers over something so trivial. This is the suggestions section ffs so expect people to suggest.
