Level 10 king or level 4 hogs?

Should I get level 10 barbarian king first or level 4 hogs? I am town hall 8 right now on my way to being maxed.

If yes - LV4 hogs, and start farming DE again for king
If not or just use them sometimes - King

I would say King. You probably use your BK in more battles than you use hogs.

I had the exact same choice when I was th8 and I choose king and king lvl 10 is very helpful with the upgraded ability

You should try to use the lab all the time, so if you cant use the lab if you will upgrade your king, ill suggest you to upgrade hogs. But I have to agree that the king is better to upgrade.

What he said. Do both, if you cant afford it, do hogs and use elixir/gold to upgrade something else.

I just went through the same dilemma.. I went with hogs first cause my lab was open and we are a lvl 5 clan. All the lower lvls ask for max hogs in war. When I donate my lvl 4, it goes to max for them. Didnt take me long to farm the de for my king who will be lvl 10 in 20 hours. Also that 12 days for the hogs feels like a long time just so u know. lol
