New update about storages and spells!

Im having a hard time looting dark elixir. I dont like the new update that you cant use spells for storages. So whats the use of lightning spell??? Please supercell! Resolve this issue! Its not fair!

I reached th10 with all maxed heros in th9 , without zapping, and I actually don't think that u need de in th7 and 8 . I finished th7 with only lv2 King, got de from mass dragons attacks, and finished th8 with lv9 Kings. Got de from wars, back then th7 didn't have drills and th8 had one drill. I farmed 4.5 millions de in th9 to finish everything that needed de with queen. I think in th9 I got zapped away around 400k de overall , yea that's worth 100 U.S. Dollars of de

I used to get zapped alot in gold 1 now I cant get zapped my dark is growing even faster then before im nearing 100k in 9 days

If you zappers had bothered to give a shield after zapping you wouldn't have lost that ability.
Seriously I had my TH out, clearly unguarded and zapper after zapper would come, I'd lose 10k til someone would finally shield me.
Thank god zapping is gone.

I've had 2 THs go through lvl 8 with a maxed out DE storage and between them both I've only gotten zapped about 20 times and didn't lose but about 1K DE on a zap. I'd usually just train a dragon army, as my lix was maxed too due to farming up my walls and take the poor sucker out Liam Neeson style. One time I clicked revenge over and over again for an hour waiting for the player to get offline. When he did - BOOM - I took him for some serious loot. He'd boosted his barracks and had almost maxed out his storages (all 3) and didn't spend it before getting off. It was a zap that I'm sure he regretted. It felt SO good.

Well there is poison for cc troops (except for th8s and above) and I think zapping for 50% is really useless. Use one spell more in battle and you will get more percentage easily, but I agree with the air defense. Most attacks at th8 are dragon attacks taking out 1 ad. This is the main use for it. Also remember lightning spell is the first spell, so dont expect too much from it.

2.) Zapping was the worst strategy for farming dark elixir in the past. You cook up spell for more than 2 hours only have have a huge loss on elixir. Make an army in 30 minutes instead and you can raid the same.

i use it when i'm pushing trophies
for finish 50%
or for destroying mortarts..etc

TH7 & 6 use it too to destroy some building like Air defence (as a TH7) or Mortar as a ( TH8)

also , ths from 4-7 use it to kill CC troops.

Lightning spell is the 1st spell unlocked.
