If you're struggling with air attacks - try a different army
Getting past Crystal isn't necessary
If you're struggling to save elixir, use a cheaper army
Getting raided as soon as you logoff is normal
Don't know what else to say, none of these problems seem to be caused by the last 2 updates (maybe air sweeper). If you've been playing the game so long then none of what I've said above should be anything groundbreaking
A full max loon army along with 5 max rage spells on a th10 with max camps would cost 381k elixer, now I'm guessing you don't attack with just loons, and probably don't use all 5 spells, so I'd say your elixer cost per raid is probably 250k. If your having trouble finding that much elixer, I suggest you drop down to gold 2, it has great loot imo. Personally I think crystal is the worst league for loot.
If you can't defend your way to masters by people just dropping trophies on you you're either rushed or holding way too much loot.

It just baffles me that more don't agree with my thoughts. Every player I personally know complains about similar issues. I really thought I may be able to get more players replying to this thread and try to make a difference.
I challenge anyone from the supercell team to try building from th 8 and level up from there. I believe every member of the development team I'd now a max th10 and are only updating to help the big guys. We have no idea how many players are quitting because they bury the inactives!
I made over 700k of gold and elixir from just attacking three times within a hour. I was actually trying to look for DE, but I couldn't pass up juicy inactive bases. And I'm in Crystal III.

I think that you could probably improve your game, if you stopped worrying about getting stars and just focused on the loot also maybe you could improve your attacking skills (I know I could).
i think I read that you are Th8, I have to admit I haven't been Th8 for a fair amount of time, but for me Th8 farming was really easy. Th9 harder, actually a big jump up in difficulty and Th10 is the hardest to farm at. So if your finding it hard going now get ready for a very bumpy ride.

Th9 in Crystal 1 here. Loot isn't good atm, i tend to lose elixir each raid. Pushing to Masters to farm the loot bonus.
Two points,
1) Are you serious? Playing for a year and still can't push past C2?
2) I use 32 loons, one Lava Hound and 10 minions for farming up here. Along with two rages. Builds in an hour, and can, at the very least, two star most th9 i come across. Heroes just make it easier.
How on bloody earth can you have trouble looning? Even the air sweeper is easy, just drop a rage on the loons!
