Can you please have the CW option default setting set to "opt out". My clan has some part time players who forget to swith to "opt out" and are not active in some of our CWs. If a player was forced to "opt in we would have a clearer idea of who will be an active participant in our CW. Thank you for a great game. And what happens if they opt in once and are too lazy to opt out again ?
A player too lazy to attend to thus simple task is unlikely to be a benefit to a clan. They would be kicked in a heartbeat if they opted in and never showed if they were in my clan. But then we remind people to opt in/out for every war.
What...your clan members are so lazy to opt out?? It takes less than 10secs by clicking your profile and choose to opt in/out!

Well, it actually makes sense. Clan leaders already have ultimate powers in their clans, so there is no reason not to give them an option to opt-in and opt-out people regardless of their choice. Sometimes a clan is short one-two players for cw, it's o'k if clan leader decides to take someone to cw regardless of their preference... :-)
This suggestion I agree with.
I think the OPs suggestion is a poor one that would cause trouble in more clans then it would help. Instead if they did as Bockerijder suggests, a leader that does want everyone set to out at the end of a war can just go down the list and do that. meanwhile the ones who's preferred way of operating their clan needs something else can do that something else. Everyone gets their choice.

NO. Just give leaders the option to force opt-out/in clan members to override. That I think would be the better option/suggestion. I have no major issues with the current setting/setup.

A legend makes heroes.
A GOD makes legends.
its is their problem if they forget, their responsibility, at least they would leave a note of whatever they are doing
