    I don't know why it's elixir. Elixir is already used for both gold mines and DE drills, so why not gold, or dark elixir? If it was DE I would change the prices accordingly.

    You can already to spend elixir to get gems regularly. This is dumb.

    Any gems you buy with money would be safe, just 5% of gems in the mine can be stolen. Maybe they shouldn't be available to loot at all, so then there won't be "gem farmers". I don't think the insurance thing is really needed if this ever were to happen.

    They won't do this. Why should they make it easier to get gems.

    Now that I read that it's true. Maybe it shouldn't have to be loaded. However, gems can be converted to elixir and gold so well see how that turns out.

    This will never happen, it's too much free gems they will think they are giving out, and every gem is important opportunity to profit real cash for them so I doubt they want to give more free gems, word is they are already planning on removing obstacles (tress, bushes, trunks, ect.) and replacing gem rewards from achievements with elixer/gold rewards in the next update.
