I came to the forum today to find this thread because this just happened to me and I knew it would be here. It is so infuriating to be pushing and have this happen. Of course it always seems to happen as I'm trying to Next past all the th10s on my way to champs (I'm th9). This makes me want to quit this game and never pick it back up again.

I am in a low league, but it is still annoying accidentally dropping a barb on a th6 base with no loot, then being forced to finish the attack.

I agree with this, just stupid that 1st troop slot is pre-selected while just searching. I also wouldn't mind the spells deselecting after a use either, as it is now I drop a rage or heal and then double tap on a used up troop slot sometimes just to be sure I don't accidentally drop a spell by accident when looking around the base.

I agree, we've all wasted so many trophies by acidently dropping a single troop on a base that coincidentally takes away 30 trophies if you lose.
