Earning XP from several upgrades would be a boost!

Hi, for the last year i've been playing i notice that you dont earn EXP from the Laboratory Troop upgrade or wall upgrade or even the Barb King.... lets see:

You spend 3.000.000 elixir on upgrading troop and 10 - 15 days until it finish yet you dont earn exp.
You spend DE on Queen and King for levling up and yet no EXP gain.
The last one i think SC could add like 2 or 3 EXP per wall upgrade not much but enought for the time you spend on levling walls and the COST is just way too expensive unless you are a gem guy.

level 7 wall to level 8 1.000.000 gold or Elixir, lets see.. 250 walls 1 mil each one si like 250.000.000 mil gold for total upgrade on the time spend on levling all walls u dont earn not even 1 EXP and i think SC should review that because of the time/gold you spend and waste, i think this would help getting a little boost to all people gems or no gems

To be fair, I am not sure what is the reason why the upgrades don't give experience. The game is running for quite a long time so I am sure this problem was raised before. It could have something to do with the heroes having so many upgrades but I am not sure.
