there must be a login bonus of 5 gems for every player if they log in and the the price of builder hut should be reduced.

There are around 3 objects spawning on your map every day (trees/bushes/trunks/mushrooms), and each of them has a chance to give you gems. If you take them all, I am pretty sure you get around 5 gems a day from them, so there is no real reason why SuperCell should reward you any more with gems.
Also the prices of the builder huts are a challenge for each player, to collect gems and buy the new builders. The game is not meant to allow many builders that easily from the beginning, unless you buy the gems, so getting more builders is one of your first tasks in the game.
