Let Lightning damage DE storage

With making storages immune to spells SC took away the most fun part of the game and I seriously think Lightning should damage DE storage,

zapping was the most fun part of the game for you?

What game are you playing? Revenges are still available. I just did one. Did you notice the inbox moved to below the trophies?

i have zero options troop wise to revenge the th9s and 10s that attack me. I used to be able to zap some de back after they did a 100% smash on me. Now all I could do is snipe a th and give them a shield which I will never do. Super cell destroyed half the game fun for me. War and revenge were the only fun parts. Raiding and hitting next 150 times before I found a base with loot or one I could loot on is not fun. Revenge WAS fun. Now there is no point. I won't be able to progress in a game when I get kicked for three seconds and am immediately 100% smashed by higher level ths. Everything I looted gets immediately stolen. My only option would be to drop down to zero trophies every night in the hopes of saving some loot for upgrades. Gameplay just got ruined for anyone not th9/10. Supercell did not consider what this would do to lower levels. Only reason I have to log on now is for war. I'll be th8 with zero progression.. All my loot will constantly be stolen and I'll never be able to save up enough to upgrade my de troops or king while bigger ths will just keep raiding with impunity. Not very enticing or interesting. So for me and I'm sure others the regular game play is destroyed. I'll be less likely to play on a daily basis which means I'll be much less likely to spend any money. Th9s and 10s will loot happily and have much less need to spend any money. I don't see that as a win win situation.

If zapping is the most fun part of the game then you clearly aren't playing the game quite right lol, every one of you th7's and 8's out there who are complaining about this, you will be greatful once you get to be higher level and realise how frustrating it is. I guarentee you this won't be reversed, as I said on another thread, no offence to the lower level guys, but super cell obviously is more concerned about pleasing the higher level, more experienced players, which is not "unfair", it's the way it should be. So when it comes to a decision between supporting the th9's and 10's or the th7's, the choice is quite clear.

I myself am not sad to see zapping be removed, but I think it's too bad SC caves in to constant whining. Apparently they actually thought removing zapping is gonna stop the complaints...

The problem with that is the progression in the game due to constantly being raided on by the higher levels will be severely lowered. Not having any reason to not raid on lower levels is wrong. Clearly super cell is supporting th9/10, but if you don't continue to grow your lower levels and you will always have higher levels that leave then you'll end up deficient of players.

I personally only only ever used zap in revenge. Also a fun portion of the game. Totally enjoyed imagining the look on the th9/10 guys face when he saw I had hit him back. This update stole that pleasure from me and in doing so certainly did not ingratiate me into supporting a company that doesn't support my enjoyment.

Unless supercell does something to deter these guys from dropping trophies in order to raid with no down side on lower levels then in the end the lower levels will become less supportive of the game. That certainly won't promote growth in the game. And I do not consider the puny loot penalty that is given to th9/10 from raiding on th7/8 a deterrent. If it were then why is it so prevelant?

In this recent update I see no upside.

Also to everyone who wants it back. Do you really think they're gonna change their mind ? How much faith and trust would be invested in a developer who is indecisive in decision making ? It would look unprofessional and they're far from that.

So they listen to whiners for 2 years and then change it, and now all the former whiners are like

"Do you really think that they'll change their mind if you whine?"



I have trouble finding someone on the forums who actually makes sense...

You are all being really dumb about this. Updates improve the game experience for everyone. You do realise lightning spells on storages takes the skill out of the game and it's not fun at all when your dark elixir is being stolen and there's nothing you can do. If you wanna take some revenge go upgrade your troops and upgrade your defence to make sure it doesn't happen again. This is not a game made for people to sit around dropping spells and smiling about it, you need to actually invest some thought into getting resources. It's not like its impossible to get dark elixir. I do a hero upgrade every week and my hero's upgrades are nearly 100 000 each. Thank You Supercell, you dealt with the most frustrating issue in the forums and greatly improved the game experience.

No they don't. They used to improve them for the game, then they went to improving the champions players which I was fine with because they're the ones paying the big money on the game. But now they're just trying to make the majority of the people happy and the majority of the people don't want the right things.

Also you guys who are getting zapped have to do it stop farming in silver. When you can take away 200k of each from them because you're bigger zapping them was their way of revenge, now they can't get even.
