    Alright but not amazing

    I think this is a decent update but not in any way a game changer. The dark spell factory is cool but two of the spells aren't much new (earthquake is variation on lightning, haste is variation on rage). I like the poison spell but have not yet had a chance to use it due to upgrading the factory.

    The new leagues are a necessary addition but way out of my reach - I won't venture past masters until I'm maxed, I'm constantly farming to try to upgrade everything.

    I was foolishly hyped for getting something big new (quests, I was hoping). There needs to be something to do during the long wait times endured in this game, and quests would bring a different spin. After 2 years I'm finally tiring of the game because every single upgrade I have left is in the 7-8 million region. I don't mind the grind too much, but I would love a new element to the game to liven things up.

    Response from supercell?

    It's been a while since the update, a lot of people complaining about the same issues over and over. Negative Troops AI and hero AI, and bad screen sensitivity, all these can be found all over the place. Will these issues be addressed at all?

    Let's face it supercell you can't fix it, not because you're not capable of it but because it's not broken right from the start. How can you fix something that is not broken? The ai was programmed to target the closest building not just any building the player wants and unless we deployed our troops with the utmost precision the ai is beyond control.

    Imho instead of improving the ai which will not improve anything, it is better to introduce new spells such as the ones in boom beach (redirect, signal, forget the name) or third hero which specifically target resources (goblin king). More things for us to play, more money for you.

    they wont fix because they getting profit by ppl who gems the new thing right after update.

    I truly appreciate the new interface. Sleek new look. Took me a bit to figure out some of the changes, but I like it. I have not had issues with the lag or delay. (note: I have an android based device).

    My concerns...
    AI - Queen is now dumber than dragons and Pekkas.
    AI - Wallbreakers are now dumber than dragons, pekkas and the new queen - rather than going to the closest part of wall from where you drop them, they ran all over the place. I now have to bring in 15 wall breakers just to get past the 2nd layer of walls as they run around the side half the screen away to blow up some small compartment. Or if they attack the compartment I want, they don't go to the closest point from drop location and where my troops are providing cover/absorbing fire.

    Building hit points - maybe over done? scale the change back some (or completely?).

    zapping - Most of those who don't like it probably used it on their way up. And now that they are past the zapping phase, they don't want it. I haven't had the issue yet, but I would be a bit perturbed if I had 49% destroyed... my idiot queen finally found her way into the center and was attacking a storage but died with a few hitpoints left on the storage and now I can't bolt it to finish it off. I personally, would have preferred (a suggestion from long time ago) a 1x1 square lightning rod or kite that absorbs some electrical energy within a set range. So you can't get 3000 DE off bolting but you could still get a fair amount. Set the rod or kite up by DE in normal set up, and by an Air Defense in war. It could be really interesting too, if it absorbed some of the hidden tesla energy if it was inside its absorption range. Make developing a base a bit more thoughtful. Also wiz/wiz tower... any electrical energy (by either attacker or defender)

    I am torn on the 2nd Air Blower. I thought one was good, two might be too much.

    I just got my dark spells so no input on those.

    One thing with the update that I'm not used to yet is that when you are cooking spells, you have to go to a different screen to see if you have any already made. It's really annoying to me, hopefully I get used to it.
    I'm an engineer with an actual engineering degree, lol.

    Witches

    Something has changed with the witches... Something in the last couple of updates..

    1. The maxed witches are not summoning the full eight skeletons anymore.. At most I see 5-6..

    2.It seems their AI has been altered now as well.. they close in to close to the structures they are attacking.

    3. All cannons, archer towers, Mortars, and tesla AI's now target the Witches more frequently then before..

    This unit cost 12 spaces and 350 DE... it's not a cheap troop to bring into battle... and yet Supercell keeps downgrading it..

    I wish you guys would quit messing around with troops like this.. It's hard enough to fight the increasingly more powerful defense structures and enhanced defense AI's that you keep bringing out. there are so few troop combo's that can penetrate TH 10 bases.. The witche was at one time able to hold its own for a little while but after these last few updates you have killed so many troops performances..

    The Wall breakers, wizards, pekkas, dragons, Queen and now witches are soooooooooooooooo dumb that the game is no longer strategic but more a game of chance..

    I want decent AI's that do actually like they are suppose too.

    If you ♥♥♥♥ up the giants and hogs next .. Then there will be no need to play this game anymore.. Might as well throw dice at a wall..

    This is an issue for my clan as well, several of us don't like that the completed spells don't show up in the brew menu anymore. Kudos on the army overview screen and new menu look though.

    I also find it is too easy to accidentally close out the barracks/sf training menus when stepping through barracks quickly. If I click near the arrow, but not exactly on it, sometimes the window closes, and I have to re-open it.

    I didn't read the whole thread, so hopefully this isn't too repetitive.

    Finally, more power to the Inferno towers? I thought they were already overpowered, and now are even more so... Could be useful for the 10v10 battles, but as a th9, I don't appreciate the 10s getting even more powerful.

    Probably not, besides from the no-zap, the update contained nothing anyone had on their wishlist so SC are running the show

    Except for new content (dark spell factory and three new spells), new leagues, a new troop level (level 5 dragons), availability of level 4 dragons at TH9, and reduced cooking time for spells

    Yep. Don't think ANYONE has ever asked for reduced spell cook time and/or queueing.....

    I can make the queen work most of the time, so I didn't mind that. Have seen her make a few seemingly stupid choices (very rarely circling, I got that covered) but then: would that not be true of the old queen?

    When thoroughly funnelled now, barring one of her moments of madness, she wrecks the core.

    No more blasting through the walls of the big square base's core when there are buildings easily in reach within a few steps. She walks.
    I do feel for lavaloon 2* practicioners at th10. Sending heroes last after a TH I'd assume is nigh on impossible.
    Why not, make sure the TH goes down with lavaloon, then send heroes after stray %? They do that very well.

    Before I cop a load of fanboy accusations, I am not a fan of the building hp buff, and AT arrow speed.

    I feel they have killed champ barching now, making hero and spell use too likely and heavy to keep the ruthless efficiency it used to offer.
    Don't care that it has made war harder, that's fine, but barch nerf put a serious dent in my wall rate.

    TH10s with 50+ hero levels, 9.5s with 40+, silent noobs<> needs you!
