In this video that someone posted, it appears that it does reset the inferno tower damage. That's what makes the spell powerful i think.

just because it costs a lot and takes a while doesnt mean it cant be made instantly with gems, and doesnt make it any less powerful

Those properties of the freeze spell are irrelevant. It completely disabled two xbows and if I saw correctly a tesla or two. Saved those pekkas a good deal longer.
You can always earn gold, wait for it to cook, and use it wisely to really juice those 4 seconds.
It still only lasts a few seconds. Not to mention that the defenders base had TH8 level defenses, aside from bows and inferno.

I agree, 4 seconds is nothing in my opinion. But what about using more than 1? That sounds a bit OP to me. Disabling someones base for 20 seconds is crazy.
Most gemmers have it to level 2, where it freezes for 6 seconds. 5 of those together in the level 5 spell factory makes it 30 seconds of disabling defenses, which is crazy
