In th7, it is almost impossible not to do, and get 3 stars. In th8, I think, is where it is more balanced of all.
th9, is balanced too. But defense is a little better than atack.
BUT TH10, omg! It is very very difficult to do and get 3 stars, you need to balance it.
And making even more defense, is really making it worse.
Bro there's 1000 ways to 3 star a th10
learn how to quatro/pentalavaloon how to golaloon or lavaloonion
learn how to gohowiwi
and u have also full witches attack
all that gets 3 stars if u are a maxed pro th10
and u can notice that supercell are always adding new features(spells, troops, new levels,...) to make it easier so ur suggestion aren't that useful

they will say that always a good attacker who do a good attack will take a 3stars and no bases are protected no matter what are the gb positions
and that base can be 3 stared by the sam tactic as the video u have watched the 5 golems and heroes will take all the 2 double gb and the attack will still be easy but u have to be a pro attacker
