Well, after a stupid attack on my part(I got excited over a 40 cup offer and didn't realize my queen was not with me) and losing 13 cups as a result, I went on defense....
+24 for a 43% EPIC defense from a player about 40 cups ahead of me.
I am now 6 away from the leader board. I have date night tonight with the fiance so it won't happen until late tonight or tomorrow at work....
My first goal is to get on the US Leader board and then reevaluate my goals based on the cloud situation.

I had date night last night and could not play. I loaded my CC with a hound as I knew my shield would run out at 3:30AM. It did, I lost 16, so now I needed 22 cups to hit my goal this morning and have not found anything but 2 snipes for 1 cup a piece since 8:14 AM. I have 2 hours and 50 minutes left to find something good. Wish me luck.
I must say, on Saturday, I was finding great bases to attack a lot. The clouds were minimal as I kept finding crappy 1 cup offers, but I also found a +50, and multiple offers over 30. Sadly though, I had to go to a wedding, so my beautiful push session came to a halt after only 4 hours. I tried again Saturday night(full 6 hour session) and again yesterday and did 2 full 6 hour sessions, and 4 hours into my 3rd session. It was atrocious.
On Saturday night, I gained 3 cups after 6 hours and was found immediately after logging off by a fellow Titan 2 player only 175 cups below me. He 2 starred me for -31 trophies.
The 16 hours of play yesterday were equally suckful with only about 4-5 attacks total, for a gain of around 12 cups and upon logging off last night, lost 29.
Now I did have a defense yesterday. I had to log off 3 times. Here are the stats:

Although I gained overall on the weekend, I feel like I put in far too much time on Sunday to suffer such a drastic loss in cups.
I am still riding a high over Saturday though. Anyone else have good luck like that Saturday?
