Solution to pesky lightning spells stealing your dark elixir!

Lightning spells will no longer steal your resources in the next update...my de is safe

it hasn't officially been announced, but it's definitely looking that way judging from the sneak peeks.

It actually hasn't been ruled out if you read.

Only things related to zapping that are ruled out are things like teslas that "absorb" lightning spells.

Nowhere does it say that any sort of defense against it is ruled out.

And if you watch the sneak peek, you'll see that the gold storage was completely shielded from the lightening, I would assume that goes for the DE storage as well.

I'm not sure about that. Usually those types of videos are made using a developer version of the game, and that's definitely not his base, you can find his base in the clan Lost Phoenix.

But yeah, in developer mode you can do anything. I don't see why SC would want you to attack your own base, part of the game is making your base and seeing how it fends from actual players.

The way he said "watch the way the spells come out" or something to that effect makes it seem like he was trying to tell us something that SC didn't want him to say at that point in time....

Not so fast. Now, with no reason to stay in higher leagues to avoid zappers, high TH level players are going to flood the lower leagues (I know, cuz I am one of them). And instead of losing a portion of your DE from zapping you are going to lose it all by being bullied by high TH level players.

Just think of this update every time you are completely wiped out by a high TH and you realize there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Nope. His base is a test base meaning he can attack himself. But he only does that to try out the new features being added by SC to give other people more info about what those features would look like..
