for me it is important that the players have the possibilities to choose from many attack strategy which work.
Not always the same like gowipe or lavaloonion, one troop which is not very often in use by Th10 Players are
the Hog-riders, of course you can use them to lure enemy clan-castle troops, but in my mind they should be also use for other things.
Normally you bring out a new level and then the troop is maybe again very strong, but I think Level 6 Hog-riders would not be a good idea at all, so I thought about an other possibility to improve the Hog-riders without making them overpowered. Because better hogs with better stats could effect that you can rush as town hall 10 easily th 9 bases with 3 stars, like in the past. Finally I found a possibility to improve the Hog-riders just for players who attack th 10 players, the Infernohogs. The Infernohogs aren't a new troop, it just describe a new ability.
While a hog-rider is under attack from an Infernotower, he improves his damage. I would say between 50 and 60 more damage on every level.
Additionally the Infernotower does just circa 75% damage on him, which means for example for a multiinferno level 3 just 31,5 damage and not 42 damage per second.
The question is how to explain this new ability , for this I have also an idea which also include a nice animation.
The Hog-rider has a hammer, the beam from the Infernotower he blocks with his hammer, so the power from the Inferno goes into his hammer, so he makes more damage. And he takes less damage, because the hammer blocks some damage from the inferno. An animation could be that the hammer becomes red and fiery , so everyone can see that he has now an infernohammer.
For more strategy it would be nice if this special ability holds also on when the inferno is not shooting anymore on the hog, maybe circa 5 seconds more power, because the hammer needs time to cooldown
So one attack strategy could be to use freeze on an inferno after he damaged some hogs, so you have 5 seconds stronger hogs who may kill the inferno in this time.
