    Lightbulb Resignation Button

Resignation Button - I feel that a "resignation button" that could be used by the clan leader only would be a great option. Sometimes, your clan is simply out-matched. If once battle day commences you find that your clan is in that position, the leader of the clan (and only the leader) could decide as to whether or not he wants to resign (forfeit) the war. The opposing clan would get XP as if they had 3-starred every base of the clan that forfeited. That way the clan that did not forfeit wouldn't get ch3ated out of the victory.

No, if the member leaves, it's both the member and the leader's problem. Why? The member who left might be just a hopper who joined few minutes ago and the leader, without further trust on him yet, included him in war, that's his problem. Be ready or be sorry.

No, absolutely not. Wars would never take place. In any given war, one side will think it is unfair and resign to find an easier war. Everyone will always want the easy wars and keep "nexting" until they get it. The feature would ruin clan wars. Have a hard matchup? plan and exacute that plan. You might just win. I have yet to see an un-winnable war. Some really hard ones? Sure, but not un-winnable.

Mismatches happen. You gotta take tough situations head on...
