If a clan wants to admit defeat before the timer is up they should be able to do so. The opposing clan could then accept their forfeit or continue the war. I have witnessed a few clans give up before the war is even over.
Also being allowed to have short matches would be a plus example having a war 60 minutes instead of 48 hours (prep time included). Granted having people pick their own times wouldn't work but maybe having preset prep and war times that players could select would be a way of doing this.
