Sometimes it happens that some players use some software that keeps them online for very long time. It should be fair that if a player is online for 4 or 8 hours then everybody are able to do revenge attacks on that player.

Not fair at all. I understand you probably really want to revenge someone- but pretend for a moment its you this applies to:
You've been online boosting and raiding like a mad man.. And suddenly at say, your 5 hour mark of being online- anyone can just revenge you while you're still online? Thats hardly fair at all you then need to break a shield to continue to play.
Revenge system is perfectly fine the way it it.
