th7 need help with war comps!!!

so i am a th7 and i have played a lot of wars.the last war i got 0 stars because im the only th7 on our team while the rest is th8+.so im facing other th8's and mass drag didnt rlly work to well for me(think i messed up but ths not the problem).the second atk i used balloonian and i failed miserably.i need a new war comp tht is very effective.im open to almost all suggestions.

dont suggest mass drag because i already use tht,i want something tht trains fast(not important rlly),isnt TOO expensive(tbh idc about DE),and it gets 3/6 stars.must be against th8(early/mid th8).

i have lvl 1 drags(will become lvl 2 in 3 days),lvl 4 barch,lvl 4 bloon,lvl 2 minions,lvl 1 hog,lvl 4 giant,lvl 3 gob,lvl 3 WB,lvl 3 wiz,lvl 1 healer,lvl 4 lightning,lvl 3 heal,and lvl 2 rage.i can upgrade my stuff but i need to wait for my drag upgrade to finish,ughhh

200 army space and lvl 2 king(dont think king matters but watevr).
dont say mass hogs,or mass drag.

if u can plz try to include how to use the army.plz include spells to use,the actual army,and if you can try including results from atks.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but dragons is still your best bet to take out th8's, even when you get to low level th8 it will still be your best bet.

Maybe you should ask what could you add or change to dragons? Spells to use? etc.

Get some max loons in your cc, bring 2 rage and 1 heal and you can still 3 star some th8's..especially if they have weak AD. funnel your dragons properly and once the ad's are firing and the cc is lured and locked on to dragons, release the loons..preferably so they can benefit from a rage (but don't save the rage for them, it should be from where you raged dragons previously).

You really shouldn't be using anything other than dragons as a th7 for war.

Get level 2 dragons and then dragloon. Anything else will fail miserably against 8s.

And lightning tends to work way better on most bases for 3 star attempts than rages an dheals unless their ADs are extremely centralized.. In which case I still take lightning because it's more consistent.

Once again... use dragloon. Look up OneHive Dragloon videos on YouTube - they explain the attack perfectly.

Lastly, join a clan that teaches their members. God knows I've spent hours drawing diagrams and explaining through voice using a conferencing app how dragons will path to teach our solid th7s how to hit th8s.

Every single war I use some TH7's to dragonloon low to mid TH8s. The standard composition is either 9 dragons + 4 balloons, or more commonly, 10 dragons. You always will want 4 max'd balloons in your CC. I always use 3x Lightning, though I know some will do rage+heals.

Attack strategy is to find the air sweeper, and most of the time, attack from behind it (note this isn't 100%!). Use 3x Lightning to destroy one of the fire defenses. The only time I propose doing the 9 dragons + 4 loons is if one of the ADs is easy to take out with your 4 loons - otherwise, just build 10 dragons.

Funnel your dragons by dropping them from the edges towards the middle, alternating each side - as mentioned above, I highly recommend watching some youtube videos on this! Time the drop of your CC balloons so that they will pass the dragons and hit an AD just AFTER the AD target the dragons.

I know that you wanted other compositions, but I'm going to add my voice to the others here and tell you there just isn't a better attack as a TH7. EVERY attack as a TH7, in war, should be with dragons...

Vs 99% of the bases you'll find, dragloon is your best bet. I however like to do level 2 hog raids vs compacted bases were it is obvious that there are no bombs inside, or the bomb locations are easy to trigger with one or 2 hogs. Since most TH7s in war expect to be hit by dragons, very few actually set up anti hog traps.

Now, having said that, my TH7 is my 4th account (I have 2 TH9's and a TH8 all with max troops), and I am extremely proficient with hog raids, so I don't recommend you try hogs in war as a TH7 until you're very comfortable attacking with them.

I normally run about 40 archers (to deal with CC and cleanup), 26 to 32 hogs depending on base, 4 max hogs in CC. When I take only 26 hogs is because I grab about 6 giants to distract defenses, or trigger bombs. Sometimes I may even put in a couple healers with the giants and BK, and only run about 20 hogs plus the 4 in the CC.
