    Surrendering in clan wars?

This could be revolutionary for back to back war clans.

I believe that creating a system where you could surrender early in the war or towards the end if you know for sure that you can't win. It won't be the case where one clan decides to end it early to stop the other clan from getting loot or more stars against them, it'd be a system where both clans have to agree to the others surrender. Whether it be both leaders or a clan poll (in my opinion having both leaders would be better) that decides to end it early.

I got the idea as I was blankly staring at my clan's war. We are 5 stars ahead and their bottom 2 have the remaining attacks and have no way of gaining any more stars as they are a town hall and a half behind our 2nd bottom that has already been 2 starred. So they have no hope of getting any stars at all. There's 3h left and we really want to start next war, for scenarios like this I believe that this feature would be fantastic.

Thanks to all those who read and hopefully one day this is implemented.

But what would be the point of surrender? When most people request this what they want is to be able to move on and start the next war. But that would never be allowed by Super Cell because it would introduce a way of gaming the system and trying to get more clan XP. *IF* Super Cell allowed surrendering (highly doubtful in the first place), they would also have to still prevent either clan from beginning a new war until the full 48 hours was up.

So - what benefit do you think you would really get by quitting?

I just think that if you're clan has no way of winning or have no way of losing, there's no point for the war to continue as nothing else will happen. Maybe making it so that the war ends as soon as both clans do all their attacks is a better/different approach.

Completely disagree. And you really didnt answer what benefit you think you will get out of it. If its simply so you can end your shame, just dont click on the war button. Ignore it.

Well the benefit would be that you could start the next war without waiting for hours, wasting precious war time. Also you're not really ending your shame, you can't win every war. Might as well accept your loss and start the next one

No reason except to provide a possibility of faster clan wars. And there is no reason to make clan wars faster in this strange manner. :-)

It's just annoying waiting hours for the war to end when nothing is going to happen

Ding Ding Ding! And there it is. The same old request which will never happen. No. You may not start your next war sooner and thereby get more clan XP. It would allow people to game the system and earn XP much faster.

In a worst case scenario imagine this: Clan wants to get to lvl 5 fast. Start a war. One battle day everyone goes all out to attack their same number and gets 1 star on each. 2 hours into the war they surrender. Some opposing clans will accept right away, some may wait, but in the end they get to have several wars more than normal earning more XP. Yes, they didnt get the 50 XP win but that does not matter when you are getting 150+ XP just for losing all the time.

    So - No.
