2 weeks ago i bacame TH 9 however i decided to be th 8,5 coz when i did research in internet I red that even tho u are th 9 u will be matched with th 8 during war so I did the following:
Upg army camps
Upg spell factory
Upg lab
Upg dark barracks
Got new walls and traps
Got Queen
Now i started upg TH 8 defence, i didnt buy any of new defence for TH 9.
What i noticed that we are matched agains more number TH 9 even do i am TH 8.5. My question is: DOES TH 8.5 WORK?
The system matches your clan against another clan based on your entire clans weighting. If it is only you doing the 8.5 path I doubt it will have much impact on the actual clan matchmaking, you may want to see what your other clan mates are doing too.
Hmmm maybe u have right.... What about traps? Are the new ones part of TH 9 defence or not? I found few sources One says i shouldnt buy new traps and one says i should LOL It doesnt matter now for me coz i bought new traps already but i have second base as well which is almost ready to go for TH 9 and i just want to be sure what to do.
I'm doing TH8.5 as well. Although I have yet to war with it (I just turned) I don't honestly believe I will be matched as a th8 necessarily. I was completely maxed th8..and although offense doesn't count for much, it still counts for something and the th does count for some too...so I'm over maxed 8...but less then I would be if I had upgraded defenses.
I'm prepared to have a low th9 across from me. Hopefully your clan doesn't have the rule where you have to use your first attack on your opposite so you can go a few lower. Also, hopefully your clan doesn't have that rule because it is also a losing strategy.
To be honest I don't have any problem to attack th 9 I will always get 2 stars and as we are pretty similar lever in my clan we are matched with similar enemy. I just discovered that gohowi is my new best attack I think for now I will stay th 8.5 I just started upg teslas I will focus on current defence and when I maxed them I will go do new one it's easy when u were maxed before u went for next lv of th
