GoLava / GoLaLoon 3 star strategy for TH9 - Another kick-♥♥♥ Hybrid!
It seems that for TH9s hybrids are the way to go at the moment, not only are they more exciting to watch, play, use etc. but they also get the job done in spectacular style and obtaining that all important 3 star attack in Clan Wars.
This video is looking at a GoLava /GoLaLoon (it seems to get called both) attack and the attacker does extremely well implementing his strategy wonderfully.
There are a couple of pointers to note:
1. This strategy is best used when your Gowi can get at least a couple of ADs (you'll want at least one Lava per remaining AD) - but when the other two are out of reach. The Lavas then act as a shield for your back end loons to take care of the remaining defences.
2. Loon placement - You do NOT want your loons to bunch. The attacker is not great at his loon placement, letting them clump a little, but typically you want to release two loons per outside defence, ensuring they are shielded by the hound.
3. Use your spell wisely - the most noticeable mistake the attacker makes is forgetting to use his lightening spell on the enemy cc, which may have saved his BK.
