Please give me a rational arguement saying that SC is greedy (NOT a flame thread)

you might one day be a high level player without using gems.

i use gems ive tried to farm since i cant keep spending money on this game.
it will take me years to get level 11 walls and by then the game would've updated to level 20 walls

I still can't keep forgetting about what Supercell did by adding a third air defense for TH8. Obviously there was a reason behind it. The air defense was added probably a few days after the golem came into the game. When the top players weren't using the golem was all they needed was 10 dragons and that would guarantee them a win, they added the air defense to stop the top players from using dragons. It's like two roads, one road that you can use dragons on, and the other road is where you can start using golems. Supercell put a block on the road which you can use dragons on, which kind of forced top players to start using golems which mean't gemming.

Here's a real reason. What do you see a lot on the forums? Threads regarding premature bases and how they are stuck and they don't know what to do.

There's a tutorial at the beginning of the game when you first started playing. It covers the bare minimum that's needed to know how to function the game; also, before you log in, the screen shows tips and things to be aware of.

All these promotes winning trophies, upgrading things, upgrading Town Hall to get more things, and some minor useful tips. I see nowhere, that supercell went in detail or even mentioning loot penalty, thus causing lots and lots of players to spend a good amount of money to upgrade to the highest Town Hall (Because that's a good thing right? The game tells them to do so). Then these people find no loot and either quit or come to the forum wishing they knew about loot penalty. And the only way to solve their problems is to spend more gems.

Could Supercell still make money if they add some details about loot penalty? Yes.

Supercell is nowhere near greedy in my opinion I've been playing since mid-October, everyone has the choice to spend or not to spend... Everything can be achieved with effort and patience even if it takes months. The gemmers don't have much of an advantage over the non gemmers except for completing everything faster. I LOVE the FREE updates, keeps the game fresh .... They even take some of our suggestions and add them to the game. Not many games do this, after all people tend to forget they are a business and say they are greedy, they have to pay for servers & the employees.

Thats when i started also. I feel like they are a really good company. Other games don't even tell you about updates.
