Quest to stop lightning spell on dark elixer!

Maybe you should show where is says that, because all it says in regards to lightning in the ruled out section is this, it doesn't even mention DE storage throughout the entire ruled out section. Maybe you should read it and know what you are talking about instead of just making things up...

*Gem mines/drills
*Wizard Laboratory to create/upgrade wizard projectiles/spells
*Add a second laboratory or a second slot in current lab to do two researches at once
*Queue upgrades/builds
*Troop Armor Building. Research upgrades to troop armors/attack/speed, etc.
*Swap buildings – drop one on the other, pop-up or double tap to swap if same size
*Ability to turn on all def building radius circles at once to check coverage
*Trap/Explosives hut to upgrade/build bigger ones
* Lightning Rod to absorb lightning spell

It still stands. I can say "box that absorbs lightning spell" and it isn't ruled out, but the exact same idea. It doesn't matter if it isn't exactly worded on the thread, it's not going to happen.

Lightning rod here is used as a general term for anything that has to do with decreasing the amount of DE gained from a zap.

Including teslas absorbing lightning spells, because after all, a lightning rod is a metal rod that absorbs electricity, which is exactly what a tesla is. Doing that would essentially make a tesla a lighting rod.

First, let's review the VERY FIRST PARAGRAPH of that Sticky Thread...



The English language can be a tricky one. While some may argue that "Under Consideration" is the exact same thing as "To Consider", I'd have to disagree with you.

To submit something to consider, no consideration has been done yet. That statement has no implication that anyone of authority that it was submitted to even knows this thing exists. It has only been submitted, or in this case suggested on the forums frequently, to be considered some time in the future.

Under consideration implies someone has or is actively reviewing the submitted material and is actively deciding whether or not to make the feature. As the first sentence clearly explains, being on that list does NOT imply that any of it is being worked on or are even being actively considered.

So it is NOT under consideration, it's a list of submitted ideas to be considered in the future.


Under Consideration is a present action.
To Consider is merely potential for future action.


That being said, Zaps Happen™

You are technically correct Axion, it does say "to consider", which I personally believe means it is currently under consideration enough, to be listed in that section. So, once it is put into the "to consider" section it is, in my opinion, under consideration. Therefore the "to consider" section is synonymous with "under consideration". I will however re-evaluate, and possible in the future call it the "to consider" section.

I am done conversing with you. I cannot have a logical argument with you if you have such a narrow and short-sighted outlook, as to think teslas are included in that statement, when clearly they are not, since teslas being able to absorb lightning is in the "under consideration" section.

I find your lack of knowledge disturbing.

Guess what's under the ruled out section? Anything that causes lightning spells to do less damage on a dark elixir storage. I don't know why this is here, maybe SC or mods forgot to remove it, but it's ruled out nontheless.

Everyone hates that guy who comes along with three lightning spells and drops them on your dark elixir stealing so much with no skill. To prevent this from happening, make tesla's absorb lighting damage. So you surround your dark elixir with your teslas and when they drop the spells it all get absorbed into them, which makes sense anyways considering that the teslas a metal tower.

Put the Rubber Cover on it, it only cost 100,000 Darl Elixir at TH level 10, it reduces damage to the storage and you're golden.
