Farming at 1700+

What do you think of farmin up here? I love the dark elixir and want to to try getting that and all the gold and all. What are the best troops to use, strategies, and ranges?

- If you want DE only, you can get a lot but it's gold costly. Just spell their DE storage and collectors and then lose or win the battle, and try to win back any lost trophies the normal way.

- Elixir farming is pretty easy as most people have an oversupply of it. Just pick the bases with the most elixir you can steal and go for it. And try to have each raid a profit and you're done.

- Gold farming is tough. As most people try to use up all their gold before logging off. So look for abandoned bases or easy targets, and hope you don't have to pay to search too much for a good target. At least your army costs are in elixir. So your army won't eat into your gold profits. But spells do. So try to keep that to a minimum.

I'm at 1730 on my way to 2000 atm. If you attack the right bases a combo of 1 healer 18 giants 8 wallbrakers 44 barbs and 46 archers works extremely well.

8 dragons, 40 archers, 3 lightning spells, barb king

lightning to take out an air defense, archers/barb king to take out any other air defenses

throw in all the dragons and they DEMOLISH a base

I've gotten 2 raids of 400 k gold and almost every rai I get at least 200 de. I love it!

I never said this was for trophies. I'm a farmer. I never go for trophies. By demolish I mean destroying all storages+collectors and trophies as a bonus. :P

I know the dragon army is expensive, but you make profit in the long run if you find bases with 300k+ in storages

I'm a TH7 and managed to get to crystal league with just 10 giants and wbs, 23 barbs and goblins, 1 healer and 70 archers. It costs around 100k Elixer to train but does well for farming. Feel free to modify it a bit

Also, it take like 1 hour to train.

I can attack 3 time per hour and it cost me less then 50k per attack.
