Lightbulb GREAT DERBY IDEA! Please read! 😀

As the leader of a neighbourhood it would be extremely helpful for me to be able to see exactly how many tasks each player has completed as well as their current total points. This would be extremely helpful in winning the derby as I could weed out the people not really helping (doing only 1 task just to get the prizes).

If if you like my idea you would like my group SERIOUS PLAYERS WANTED.

    Thank you

    LEADER- Debs Digs (aka Debra)

    This already came up

SC has decided, mostly from players saying so, that this is an invasion of privacy. i am a leader as well, so im biased when i say i dont think its a privacy issue, but i asked my hoodies about it, they all love the idea, because hey, if you do your 5 tasks and are just doing your part, why do u care, have something to hide? Anyways, thats just 30 people's opinion, so eh 😛 but sadly, this can't be a thing lol i think people miss the point, or some hoods see it in a negative light. In my hood we were discussing how we would use that system just to know who hasnt done their last one or two tasks or something so everyone would be able to help that person. Or, if they arent doing anything at all, maybe make room for someone who will

As I see it if your neighbours want to win they will be doing as many high point tasks as they can.
In which case no monitoring is needed.
If your neighbours all share that competitive spirit and really want to win they can be perfectly self monitoring.

Where my concern lies is how many people would be harassed or booted from a NH because a leader felt they weren't completing enough tasks. Even if these people had been perfectly good neighbours up until the derby started.
Good neighbours water trees, fill boat crates, share EMs or what other neighbours need.
Winning the derby is NOT just about monitoring how many tasks people have done.
And the Hay Day and Neighbourhoods are not just about the derby.

We have had a number of intense conversations about this as it keeps getting requested.
Sadly a lot of people requesting this have also spoken of their fellow hoodies as slackers and lazy among other things. Not the sort of leader with whom one would wish to share the details of their derby participation, even where it was it was perfectly fine.

this is the part which seems to get forgotten and its a shame. I haven't taken many tasks yet this Derby and the ones I have done haven't been very high points (i usually do though) but ive been putting up items for sale like mad for my neighbours

⬆️ Ditto Its not a job. Its a game. Lets keep it in perspective.

I am our nh "leader". If this was an option I would not choose to watch over my nh members. We all work together and do the best that we are able to do on any given week.

i would like that as well... we had someone join us for one week... picked an easy high point task (timed crop task).. and hold on to it to the end of the derby.. and once the derby ended he left.. i understand that some people can't play all the time.. and i wouldn't kick people that have family issue if they would say something.. but i have a problem with people coming in to just take derby rewards without doing any work..

also.. you can receive the derby reward without doing anything.. all you have to do is be in the NH from the start of the derby till the end.. which i find not fair for the people that spend hours making items for their derby tasks or looking around for these items..

I love the idea of knowing who and how many tasks you have done in a derby, it's fair for other players who play daily and spend their diamonds and time , i know it's just a game but when you join a nh and you knew derby it's their priority among others thing you shoukd respect that.
