The summoner spell is a spell that summons a random troop that you are capable of training, and can come in a group of 1-10.
better troops have a lower chance of being summoned and almost never come in groups of 2+
example: lava hound: 1% chance of being summoned, 0.1% for 2 to be summoned(1 in 1000) and 0.000000001% for 10(1 in 100,000,000,000)
Barbarian 10% chance for 1. 9%for 2 etc

Who would actually use it? The whole point of attacking strategies is to build armies that are complete and the troops are balanced. Some are for tanking, some cleaning, some backup.
What happens if I'm using GoWiPe and a lavahound comes out? I'd rather use that extra spell space for a jump or a rage rather than carrying a mystery box through which I don't know what troop or how many would come out. Yes sometimes it can turn out greatly in your favour, but that's too much of a risk.
